Welcome to Geneva

Visitors, who first time came to Geneva expect to see the clockmakers looking at their watches while buiyng the Swiss chocolate, the dark suited gentlemen reading the latest Financial Times, while drinking tea during the coffee break, and top fashionistas bumping into the foreigners, who just came out from the building of one of the numerous international organisations located here.

Indeed,
Patek Philippe Museum exhibits the best watches and clocks from between 16th and 20 th centuries,

Rohr and Steeler organise the guided tours inside of their chocolate manufacturies,

dosens of boutique shops and famous banks are located in Rues-Basses district,

and the UN representatives meeting chamber in Palais des Nations is one of must-do while in Geneva.

But there are also other faces of Geneva, for example:

a visit to the Parc La Grange ended with a summer evening concert,

a sauna in the famous bath Bains des Paquis,

a boat ride on the waters of Geneva Lake,

hiking to the top of hill Saleve, with the stop near one of wineyards at the bottom

buying priceless souvenirs, but on the flies-market in Plainpalais, or flowers on the Molard Square.

Geneva is also the city of theatres, cinemas, cafes, exhibitions and museums, to see are the paintings in Musee d'Art et d'Historie, porcelain in Musee Ariana, and in Collections Baur, history of the city in Maison Tavel, and much more...

Make your choice, and enjoy your trip to Geneva !
